Life on the campus of KIET is marked with numerous academic ceremonies, official occasions and community programs that are an integral fabric of the institution — new students are welcomed, graduates are celebrated, exemplary academic achievement is honored, losses are shared, public statements of strategic direction are delivered, and the doors of the university are opened for all to explore. Visitors from around the world share in these special occasions as guests and as members of our extended community. At other times, the immediate university community engages in celebrating families and sharing with each other as fellow Longhorns and colleagues.
