Meet the Alumni

Alumni speaker sessions are conducted every semester where KIET Alumni who have continued successful career are invited to share their experience, pitfalls and the practicalities of the professional world as well as guide the students in working and preparing for it. Hence, the students, especially the ones who are about to step into the professional world, could get an insight about how to face the challenges, learn new things and tasks, deal with the co-workers and superiors, and make decision for their first career.

Alumni Guest Speaker Sessions held in the year 2018

An Alumni Guest Speaker Session was conducted successfully for students of Management Science Program at KIET City Campus to follow “Meet the Alumni Program” on July 17, 2018 by Corporate Relation Department. The session was given by Mr. Mohsin Khan (Asst. Manager HR Business Partner-PTCL) followed by the topic “Projecting a Professional Image” was fascinating and informative. Students learnt new ideas as well as job acquiring techniques and participated enthusiastically in the session.

Corporate Relations Department arranged an Alumni Guest Speaker Session on March 6, 2018 at KIET Main Campus. Mr. Taha Javed, the youngest A320 Family Aircraft Engineer License holder in Pakistan Industry, an Entrepreneur and currently working as Senior Quality Engineer at Shaheen Air International (Engineering Division) addressed the students about Technical Details regarding Market Survival of Avionics and Electrical Engineers.

An Alumni Guest Speaker Session was conducted for students of Management Science Program at KIET City Campus on April 3rd, 2018 by Corporate Relation Department. The session was delivered by KIET Alumnus Mr. Shahrukh Alam, the Manager Operational Risk at Dubai Islamic Bank-Pakistan limited on the topic “Operation Risk Management”.

An Alumni Guest Speaker Session was conducted for students of Management Science Program at KIET City Campus to follow “Meet the Alumni Program” on October 3, 2018 by Corporate Relation Department. The session was given by Mr. M Danish Khan (HR Business Partner-PTCL) followed by the topic “Self-awareness and Opting the Best Career”. It was very fascinating and educative. Students found new ideas and learnt job acquiring techniques and participated well in the session.

Guest Speaker Session  was conducted for students of Management Science Program at KIET City Campus to follow “Meet the Alumni Program” on October 25, 2018 by Corporate Relation Department. The session was given by Mr. Mufti Zahid Siraj (AL-BARAKA BANK) followed by the topic “Islamic Banking” was very fascinating and educative. Students got the actual idea about Islamic Banking mechanism and participated well in session.

Corporate Relations Department arranged an Alumni Guest Speaker Session on October 25, 2018 at KIET Main Campus. Ms. Sana Jagirani who is not only a businesswomen but also an entrepreneur, addressed the students about ” Overcoming Professional Life Challenges”. The students found the session helpful in learning the necessary skills to face the professional life challenges as well as overcome them.
