SPEC FALL 2018 held on 10th December, 2018 at the College of Engineering, KIET Main Campus.

This, end of the term Project Exhibition and Competition, being true to its tradition, provided students of CoE with a platform to showcase their efforts in the shape of projects to the audience.

Cash Prizes were distributed to the winner and runner ups of the various competitions including Line Following Robots, Speed Wiring and to the Best Projects.

 

 

What differs it from other available “Smart wheelchairs” is that it can convert itself into a bed and is also capable of providing orthostatic position too. The smart wheelchair can be controlled using joysticks or through smart phone / laptop via Bluetooth and it can also be controlled through Voice. Besides, this prototype has low RPM motors which provide slow smooth and painless transitions to its user.

This will be one amongst many other FYP/SDP being displayed and demonstrated on Monday during SPEC-Fall-2018 at College of Engineering.

Smart Wheelchair, Senior Design Project by CoE Students

As a Final Year Project (FYP) / Senior Design Project (SDP), a group of three students of BE-Mechatronics at College of Engineering PAF-KIET, have designed this “Smart Wheelchair”. What differs it from other available “Smart wheelchairs” is that it can convert itself into a bed and is also capable of providing orthostatic position too.
