The Graduate School of Science and Engineering (GSSE), KIET, Karachi offers vibrant research oriented programs in Electronics Engineering (EE), Computer Science (CS) and Management Science (MS).

Major features of GSSE are given below
1) GSSE, KIET has won four major IGNITE (previously ICTRnD) funded projects worth over 90 million PKR. These projects are related to Analog IC Design, Signal Processing, Robotics & Controls and Embedded Systems. Few more national and international funded projects are in the pipeline.
2) GSSE currently has following active research groups
  a) Data Mining and Visual Analytics
  b) Electronic Devices Circuits and Systems
  c) Embedded Systems
  d) Intelligent Mobile Robotics
  e) Signals Processing
  f) Smart Networks
  g) Software Engineering
3) GSSE boasts active and meaningful research collaborations with international universities including Ohio State University USA, University of Western Australia, KACST Saudia Arabia, Singapore University of Technology and Design, South East University China, University Umm-al-Qura Saudia Arabia, Al-Ain University UAE, EFabless Inc USA, etc
4) All MS and PhD courses are taught by only PhD faculty members having active research profile.
5) GSSE is a not for profit program which is in fact heavily subsidized by KIET. GSSE offers comprehensive scholarships, tuition fee waivers and Research Assistant ship positions to selected students.
